Usually yes. The three questions are where the spa can sit relative to the existing shell, whether your current equipment pad can carry the extra load, and how the plumbing ties in without hurting the pool's circulation.
We survey before we quote, because on some pools the honest answer is no.
Part of the pool, not an appliance beside it
A built-in gunite spa uses the same shell construction, the same tile and the same interior finish as the pool.
Shared equipment and a spillway that returns water to the pool make the whole thing read as one design rather than two things in a yard.
Retrofitting to a pool you already have
It is very often possible. We look at the position, the equipment pad and the plumbing tie-in before quoting anything.
If retrofitting is going to cost more than it is worth on your particular pool, we will tell you that rather than sell you a compromise.
Built-in or portable? An honest answer
A portable hot tub is cheaper, faster and moves with you. A built-in gunite spa costs more, takes weeks rather than days, and adds to the property.
We only build the second kind, so it is worth saying plainly. If budget or timeline is the binding constraint, a portable unit is a legitimate answer and we would rather you heard that from us.

Spa builds live or die on the equipment. Heater sizing for the volume, jet count and placement, the blower, and automation that lets you start the spa from your phone so it is warm when you get home.
